My wife harvested a few things from our garden today. Yeah, there is only one zucchini (they are suffering a bit in this Georgia heat), and the heirloom tomatoes that should be at least fist-sized are more like cherry tomatoes. But hey…they’re still edible.
I just want to motivate those of you who are on the threshold of deciding to have a backyard garden or thinking about at least having a tomato plant or two in a pot. Go ahead and do it. What’s holding you back? Fresh vegetables right in the backyard…no chemicals or GMOs…

Thanks! And sorry about your plant…yeah we could use some of your rain over here. But then again I could do a whole lot better with watering our garden on my own too :).
