In the first article of this series, I talked about the 1000 Calf Raise Challenge, including where I received the idea from, as well as when I would start.

I officially started the challenge on January 2nd, and did 1000 calf raises on the 2nd and the 3rd.  Today is Saturday the 4th, and I decided that I will rest on Saturdays.  Keep in mind that I am doing these in conjunction with my regular exercise routine.

I decided also that I will just break it into sets of 25 that I will do throughout the day.  That way, I can spread out the burn.  Since I just received my athletic tape measure today (cool!), I will give updates on any change in calf size to see if there is any difference, too.

Remember, the final test will be for me to see if it is easier for me to dunk a basketball in a regulation size goal.  Hope this works!

Right Calf Size:  15″

Left Calf Size: 14.5″

Do you think that 1000 calf raises a day for a month can raise your vertical 12 inches?  Comment below!
